Overview
What happens from pickup to delivery
Booking a LoadX shipment is only the start. After a vetted, insured carrier accepts your load, the process becomes operational: a pickup window is set, the driver contacts the release party, the vehicle is inspected and documented, and the same paperwork is used again at delivery for final acceptance.
LoadX Solutions Inc is a licensed broker (MC 1810077, USDOT 4555866). We coordinate the shipment and stay accountable for communication; the assigned carrier operates the truck and performs the physical transport. Your coordinator remains the central point of contact if timing, access or paperwork questions come up mid-route.

The process
Pickup and delivery, step by step
Scheduling pickup
After a carrier is assigned, your coordinator confirms an estimated pickup window based on the driver’s route and your earliest available date. You will know the target window before the truck is en route.
Driver communication
The driver contacts the pickup party ahead of arrival to confirm timing, access notes and who will release the vehicle. Keep your phone available on pickup day so the window can be tightened as the truck approaches.
Vehicle inspection

Bill of lading
The bill of lading (BOL) is the shipment’s controlling document. It records vehicle identity, condition notes and the parties releasing and receiving the vehicle. Do not sign until the written condition matches what you see.
Transport
Once loaded and secured, the carrier transports the vehicle along the assigned route. Your LoadX coordinator remains available for status questions while the truck is in transit.
Delivery appointment
As the truck nears destination, the driver schedules a delivery appointment with the receiving party. Confirm access, gate codes and any nearby meeting point needs before the trailer arrives.
Final inspection
At delivery, inspect the vehicle against the pickup bill of lading before you sign. Note any new concerns on the delivery paperwork while the driver is still present.
Customer acceptance
Signing the delivery documentation confirms you have received the vehicle. After acceptance, the shipment is complete. Contact your coordinator promptly if anything on the paperwork needs follow-up.

Do I have to be present for pickup and delivery?
Someone authorized to release or accept the vehicle must be present — or reachable — to complete inspection and sign the bill of lading. It does not have to be the titled owner.
When will I know the exact pickup time?
You receive a pickup window after a carrier is assigned. The driver then calls ahead to narrow the arrival as they approach. Auto transport rarely runs on a fixed hour like a courier appointment.
What if the truck cannot fit on my street?
The driver will agree on a nearby safe meeting point — often a large parking lot a few minutes away — and confirm it with you before arriving.
